A piano teacher from Pekin, who police say had been giving lessons to children in Bloomington-Normal for many years, is charged with multiple counts of child molestation.
Bloomington Police announced earlier there was a warrant for Aaron Michael Parlier’s arrest, and authorities now say the U.S. Marshals Task Force took the 36 year-old man into custody, Tuesday afternoon, in the 1300 block of Warriner Street in Normal.
Parlier is charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault and nine counts of criminal sexual assault for allegedly molesting a teenage girl over a four year period ending in July of 2013.
Parlier could face up to 60 years in prison if found guilty of predatory sexual assault.
