Tonight’s Bloomington City Council meeting highlights the possible creation of a tax increment financing district (TIF) to help with redevelopment of the former Bloomington High School into apartments for those 55 and older on the 2nd and 3rd floors with commercial and non-profit users on the first. The TIF includes several other properties near downtown. This could all move forward if the City Council agrees to set a hearing.
