The Bloomington-Normal Economic Development Council board of directors has selected long-time community leader and current BNEDC Vice President Mike O’Grady as interim Chief Executive Officer.
O’Grady’s appointment is effective Monday, April 30, 2018.
O’Grady has been with the EDC since 2012, serving in investor relations and government affairs. He spent 36 years at Illinois State University and has been involved in local, state, and national government relations for much of that time.
Current CEO Kyle Ham announced last month he will leave the EDC on April 27.
