Senators in Illinois want to allow people to swap their opioid prescriptions for a medical marijuana script. The Illinois Senate yesterday passed a plan that would allow people to get marijuana instead of opioid pain pills.
State Senators Jason Barickman and Bill Brady Friday appeared on The Morning Buzz Friday with Tom Davis saying they supported the measure.
Barickman says,”The bill won’t fix all the woes of the opioid epidemic, but it’s a step in the right direction.”
