The National Weather Service advises that severe storms will be possible late tonight and through the early morning hours of Thursday. The primary threats will be from damaging wind gusts of 60 to 65 mph along with large hail, with an isolated tornado possible.
According to the National Weather Service, it appears we may see several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday. One round should occur early in the morning with a second threat for strong to severe storms pushing in Thursday evening ahead of a cold front.
Current indications suggest the main threats from the thunderstorms on Thursday will be from damaging wind gusts and hail. The threat for thunderstorms will push off to our east by Friday morning.
