Cypress Creek went before the McLean County Zoning Board last to ask for a solar power generating facility that would be located near I-74 on Bloomington’s south side. The board ruled in favor of the new farm unanimously and it will move to the county board next month. The company said a farm like this would provide the economy with 25 construction jobs. It would also be able to give solar power to 321 homes in the county.
