It’s the time of the year for solicitors. The Normal Police Department said there are rules in place for the Town of Normal, that solicitors have to follow.
1. Solicitors can only go door-to-door between 9A.M. And 9P.M.
2. Each person has to apply to solicit in Normal.
3. Solicitors must have proof of that registration certificate on them at all times.
4. A “No Soliciting” sign means just that…No soliciting.
Normal officials are letting the community know that the town never employs solicitors to ask you to change your utility company. If you see or know someone in violation of these rules, call the Normal Police Department non-emergency number at (309)-888-5030.
