Bloomington Police told Cities 92.9 on the scene midday Wednesday that they were investigating a report of a possible explosive at a storage unit at Gildner’s Mini Storage on Ireland Grove Road between two major car dealerships. Upon a closer look, it was determined by officers that the materials where nothing more than old war smoke bombs. The Secretary of State’s bomb squad unit was called in as a precaution.
