Officials have indentified the body of a woman that was pulled from a car which was reportedly driven into Evergreen Lake near Hudson late Friday night. McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis indentified the woman as 71-year old Deena Rogers of Washington, Illinois.
According to a statement release by Coroner Davis, the preliminary autopsy indicates that Ms. Rogers died from drowning due to an automobile driving into a lake.
Toxicology results are pending. Ms. Rogers was the sole occupant in the car. This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the McLean County Sheriff’s Office.
