One of the men charged with stealing public money from Bloomington’s city-owned coliseum will pay a one dollar fine and spend the next two-and-a-half years on probation. Jay Laesch pleaded guilty yesterday to money laundering and tax charges. Prosecutors say he was one of five people who took money from the coliseum over a number of years. As part of his guilty plea, prosecutors say Laesch must cooperate in the cases against the other four defendants.
