An objection filed over Bloomington City Council candidate Julie Emig’s nominating petitions having some signatures with unfilled blanks associated with them will be heard noon Monday. The Pantagraph reports Emig was not able to attend a Bloomington Board of Election Commissioners hearing Tuesday due to work issues. Should the challenge filed by Bloomington resident Regina Noland be upheld, 45 signatures could be tossed, leaving Emig with 77 signatures. A minimum of 90 signatures is needed to run in Ward 4 in the April 2 election.
