One central Illinois Salvation Army chapter is asking folks to dig deep for the rest of the holiday season. The Salvation Army of McLean County this week said they are struggling to meet their red kettle goal. The group wants to raise 520-thousand-dollars, but has yet to even break the 300-thousand-dollar mark. Commanders are hoping that strong online donations overcome lower than expected kettle hauls.
