Prosecutors in Bloomington say they need more time to make their case against a man accused of shooting and killing three men and critically wounding a four-year old boy on Riley Drive back in June. The McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office yesterday asked for a few more weeks to gather DNA evidence in the case against Sydney Mays. Mays is representing himself, and asked for a speedy trial before a judge. His trial was supposed to start in two weeks.
