Pay raises are coming for Unit 5 substitute teachers, The school board voted Wednesday to raise their daily pay rate. The daily rate was $80 per day for Monday through Thursday and $90 per Friday. Daily rates will increase to $90 for 16 to 30 days, $95 for 31 to 60 days, and $100 for more than 60 days. Subs who work 15 days or less during the school year will be paid $85 per day.
