The McLean County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect involved in the Sunday night armed robbery at the Mobil Gas Station in Downs near I-74. In a statement released Wednesday, officers were told an Hispanic man, between 5-feet-4 and 5-feet-9 inches tall with a medium build fled the scene after the robbery in a late 1990s or early 2000s white Ford Explorer. There were no injuries in the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact sheriff’s department detectives at 309-888-5049.
