The Ardagh Group plant in Lincoln is closing their plant at the end of April resulting in about 150 workers losing their jobs. The company operates 100 glass and metal manufacturing facilities in 22 countries. It creates packaging for beverage cans, food products, aerosols, beers and liquor. The company, in a letter to the employees, cited lower demand and inflationary pressures over the past year as the reason for the plant’s planned closure.
