18-year-old Mitchell Dutz was sentenced to three years in state prison after filing a false Amber Alert back in December. Dutz falsely reported a 13-month-old baby was abducted from a Farmington gas station on Dec. 15, triggering a statewide Amber Alert. Dutz later admitted to police he made up the abduction to retaliate against people who robbed him in a drug deal gone wrong. No child existed. Dutz told police he took the picture of the child given to police for the Amber Alert from social media. Dutz pleaded guilty to burglary and filing a false report in Fulton County.
