An investigation is ongoing into the death of an 8-year-old girl brought to a local hospital earlier this month.
Normal Police Chief Rick Bleichner tells the Pantagraph, “We are looking into the circumstances of the death of a young girl. We are working with other agencies and the investigation continues.”
The child was a third grade student at Prairieland Elementary School on East Raab Road in Normal. She was brought to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center Jan. 25th and transferred to a Peoria hospital where she died.
