One of the biggest attractions at the Illinois State Fair is up for sale. Prairie State Bank & Trust is looking to sell the Giant Slide at the fairgrounds in Springfield. The giant slide is, well, a 40 foot slide that sits just inside the main gate. It has become a tradition for many fairgoers, but the former owner said he just didn’t want to deal with it anymore. The bank is asking 135 thousand-dollars.
