Federal prosecutors have struck a deal with former U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock’s legal team to drop all corruption charges against him. The Chicago Tribune reports prosecutors in Chicago agreed to drop the charges if the Peoria Republican agrees to pay back money he owes to the IRS and his campaign fund. The Tribune reports Schock’s campaign committee will plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge for failing to properly report expenses as part of the deal.
