Add some batteries to your shopping list this weekend. The Illinois State Fire Marshal is reminding folks to change the batteries in their smoke detectors when we spring forward early Sunday morning. We set the clocks forward this weekend, and the Fire Marshal says that’s six month reminder to change the batteries in your smoke detector.
