Illinois Governor JB Pritzker says his progressive income tax will not chase businesses out of the state. The governor was in Moline on Friday to sell his idea to take more from people who make more. Pritzker said his tax will provide stability, and he says that’s what business owners want more than anything else. Lawmakers, then voters will have to approve the tax before it takes effect.
