The man accused of killing a northern Illinois deputy could face the death penalty. A judge in Springfield raised that possibility yesterday for Floyd Brown. He’s the man accused of killing McHenry County Deputy Jacob Keltner last week. Brown was in court yesterday for his first appearance, so were dozens of off-duty deputies who packed the courtroom.
