
The University of Illinois’ own admissions scandal may have kept the school out of the most recent scandal involving how parents got their kids into certain schools. U of I Admissions Director Andy Borst told WCIA TV last night that the university made changes to its admissions process after a 2009 scandal where lawmakers were funneling students on to campus. Borst says right now, if a student has been accepted at the University of Illinois, it’s because they made it there on their own.
