The Connect Transit Board of Trustees voted 5-1 to increase fares across the board and to eliminate their Olive route. Nearly two dozen residents spoke during public comment in opposition to both these changes.Most of the speakers cited the impact of raising fares on Connect Mobility, which is the service riders with special needs can pay in order to ride. The bus service say there will be options like a value pass, or a discounted amount when a Connect Mobility rider purchases passes.
