There’s at least one Illinois lawmaker who wants to get tougher on drivers in order to do better for State Troopers. State Rep Tim Butler says the state of Illinois must get tougher on drivers who refuse to move over for troopers and other people on the side of the road. Butler made the call late last week after the death of a trooper in northern Illinois, but before another trooper died Saturday in a wreck in the Chicago suburbs.
