Does the town of Normal really need another hotel? The Normal Planning Commission is deciding whether a plot of land in town will be a good spot for a new one. Developers are planning on building an H2 hotel, but say they want incentives from the Town of Normal. Mayor Chris Koos was quoted earlier this week saying town leaders are against giving incentives for the project “especially given the current hotel climate.”
