Jury Hears Details Of BPD Driving Tests At Zimmerman Trial, Girlfriend at the Time Says “He Was Home.”

The jury in the Kirk Zimmerman murder trial is hearing testimony about driving tests the Bloomington Police Department took of the possible route the defendant may have taken after allegedly shooting and killing his former wife in her office. During testimony, an officer said police created a route from the office complex where Pam Zimmerman worked on East Washington Street through an area near East Grove and Robinson streets where the victim’s cellphone and wallet were found after her death. Two test runs were completed by investigators. Kate Arthur, Kirk Zimmerman’s girlfriend at the time of Pam’s death, vouched for Kirk saying he was home at the time.
