41-year-old Cynthia Marie Baker of Normal was indicted Wednesday by a McLean County grand jury on three counts of murder and several other charges including aggravated battery in connection with the January 26th death of an 8-year-old child. The indictment alleges baker kicked the child with the intent of doing “great bodily harm.” The child’s intestines were breached as a result of the kicking. If convicted, baker could serve 69 to 217 years behind bars.
