The judge in the Kirk Zimmerman murder case is allowing the jury to hear evidence about a trip he may have made to Indiana to buy a gun days before his former wife was shot to death. The judge issued the ruling yesterday, allowing prosecutors to contend that Zimmerman traveled to a location near Crawfordsville and possibly bought a gun the day after he received a letter from his ex-wife Pam Zimmerman demanding past due child support. Kirk Zimmerman is charged with murdering his former wife in her Bloomington office in November 2014.
