A woman is under arrest in connection with the death of an eight-year-old child in Normal. Cynthia Baker, also known as Cynthia Clay, was indicted yesterday on murder, aggravated battery of a child, and aggravated domestic battery charges. The child was taken to a hospital January 25th with abdominal injuries sustained from Clay allegedly kicking the victim and died the following day. The investigation is continuing.
