Severe weather on this Memorial Day will be most likely in areas from about I-74 northward, developing early afternoon. The storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes, but with time, the wind threat is expected to prevail. The severe weather is expected to be more isolated south near the I-72 corridor.
