House Speaker Michael Madigan is announcing to lawmakers they will be in session at least through Sunday due to the volume of work load still in front of them. He tells lawmakers that per diems are not available beyond today. The Senate is not announcing anything at this point. Unresolved is a full state budget. Other issues such as gambling expansion and abortion rights are still being discussed.
