Opening statements in the murder trial of Brendt Christensen are expected to begin in the middle of next week. Jury selection is continuing as both sides attempt to whittle down the pool to 12 jurors and six alternates. Judge James Shadid predicts that a jury will be seated Monday, with opening statements following on June 12th.
