Bloomington Alderwoman Jenn Carrillo is clearing the air with downtown business owners over a restaurant name controversy. About half a dozen business owners walked out of a meeting last night, upset by Carrillo’s comments on the controversy. The co-owner of recently opened Bloomington Spice Works tells the Pantagraph the meeting ended well and that he and Carrillo were in a “good spot.” The restaurant was originally going to be named the Gypsy Room, which Carrillo objected to and called for a boycott.
