McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder is releasing the following information regarding a death that occurred at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, Illinois:
At 1613 hours of June 12, 2019, McLean County Coroner’s Office received notification of a death in the Emergency Room related to a house fire that occurred at 1313 Baugh Drive, Normal, Illinois.
Pronounced deceased at 1559 hours on June 12, 2019, was Judith Dawson, age 76, of Normal, Illinois. Preliminary autopsy opinion indicts that she died from carbon monoxide intoxication due to inhalation of smoke and soot due to a house fire. There was no evidence of non-fire related injury. This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office, Normal Police Department, and Normal Fire Department.
