Bloomington Police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of N. Roosevelt St. Friday just past midnight for a call of an armed subject.
Upon arrival, officers from third shift patrol stopped a vehicle leaving the scene and conducted an investigation into the armed subject call for service. As part of the investigation two men were arrested.
David L. Castillo, 36, of Heyworth, IL was arrested for:
– Felon in Possession of a Firearm (UUW)
– Resisting / Obstructing an Officer with Injury
– Driving On Suspended License
Keir M. Spinks, 25, of Normal, IL was arrested for:
-Felon in Possession of a Firearm (UUW)
One officer sustained minor injuries from the arrest.
Both Castillo and Spinks are being held at the McLean County Jail.
