On Thursday, July 11th, 2019, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Bloomington Police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Peach St. for a report of a shots fired incident. Upon arrival, officers located damage to an apartment complex as well as other evidence that a shooting had occurred in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Peach St.
On Friday, July 12th, at approximately 12:25 a.m., officers were informed there was a gunshot victim at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Officers spoke to the juvenile male victim. The victim sustained an injury consistent with a gunshot wound while walking home in the area. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
No additional information will be released at this time. There were no other injuries reported.
