On Wednesday, July 17th, 2019, Bloomington police officers along with members of the US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force arrested a man and woman in Normal, IL in connection with two recent shootings in Bloomington.
Darren F. Gordon, 26, of Normal, IL was arrested for five McLean County warrants for:
– Aggravated Battery / Discharge Firearm
– Felon in Possession of a Firearm (2+)
– Unlawful Use of Weapons / Felon Possess / Use Firearm / Parole
– Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm
His bond is $500,000 – 10% to apply. He is currently being held in the McLean County Jail.
Also arrested was Deliliah S. Dorsey, 23, of Normal, IL for Prevent / Aiding Fugitive. Her bond will be set by a judge.
The recent shootings mentioned occurred on:
-7/11/19 – 10:50 p.m. – 1900 block of Peach Street – Juvenile male shot
-7/12/19 – 5:21 p.m. – 400 block of N. Lee Street – Juvenile male shot
As part of the investigation, a firearm was recovered. No more information will be released.
