
At around 8:35 p.m. Sunday, officers from the Normal Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Golfcrest for a report of shots being fired. Responding units located a vehicle in a parking lot with damage consistent with multiple rounds striking it.
Preliminary investigation revealed that two male victims were sitting inside the vehicle when multiple rounds were fired by a suspect
outside the vehicle. Damage consistent with gun fire was also reported to an occupied apartment building in the 700 block of Golfcrest.
No injuries have been reported to law enforcement and crime scene technicians are processing the vehicle and area for additional evidence.
