A man was hospitalized Saturday after being stabbed in the neck overnight.
Bloomington Police responded to the 300 block of East Jefferson Street after reports of a fight at approximately 3:15am.
Police tell us the unidentified victim was stabbed and was transported to that hospital with serious injuries.
50-year-old Elbert Hawkins was arrested in connection with the incident. Hawkins is charged with aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon.
There’s no update yet on the victim’s condition.
