The third suspect remained in the rear of the store while demanding employees open the business safe.
A short time later, two suspects exited the store and then immediately tried to reenter – finding the doors blocked by patrons inside the business. One suspect struck the door with a handgun while trying to force his way back into the business. As he was doing this his handgun discharged, striking the him in the hand with a bullet.
All three suspects then fled on foot from the location. Evidence found in the vehicle linked it to the earlier robbery. A police K9 was deployed to track the suspects which resulted in the capture of one of the robbery suspects, Jamar J.
