The Utica police chief tells a local media outlet Friday that it appears no charges will be filed against a Bloomington-Normal cheerleading coach and teacher related to an alleged incident at a hotel in LaSalle County.
ISU’s local public radio station reports authorities were investigating an alleged incident between Andrew “Drew” Miller and a juvenile at Grizzly Jack’s Grand Bear Resort in Utica in July. Authorities said the incident involved alleged verbal conduct—not physical—between Miller and the juvenile. No other information was released.
Miller has been on paid administrative leave from his cheer coach position at University High School and his teaching job at Chiddix Junior High School, both in Normal.
