You are paying more for a gallon of gas in Central Illinois.
Gasbuddy.com reports prices rose 9.4 cents per gallon last week to $2.69 a gallon. While that is 11.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, it is 18.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The national average also went up 8.5 cents per gallon, raising the national average to $2.66 a gallon. That is 7.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, and 17.4 cents lower than a month ago.
