The Federal Prospects Hockey League, “The FED” is coming to Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, IL.
Barry Soskin with a new hockey team ownership group has a vision that includes a long-term partnership with Grossinger Motors Arena to bring a hockey team to Bloomington.
The partnership will include three neutral site regular season games that will be played at Grossinger Motors Arena during this current season between January and March 2020.
The Federal Prospects Hockey League is entering their 10th season with ten teams in eight states from New York to Georgia and from Connecticut to Illinois.
Soskin says many owners simply find themselves in the wrong league and leads to paying out more than they are bringing in.
He says he’s a fan and and he wants to give the fans what they want.As for a team name? Sokin is going to leave that “up to the fans.”
