A new report says Illinois is among one of the safest states for Thanksgiving travel.
ASecureLife.com used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s reporting system to analyze the number of deadly car crashes between 2013 and 2017 in each state during November.
Illinois ranked eighth in the top ten safest states. The safest area was Washington, D.C. followed by New York. Mississippi ranked as the most dangerous state.
