Snow and ice are expected across portions of central Illinois late Sunday into Monday. Snow will overspread central Illinois Sunday afternoon and evening, then expect a transition to freezing rain and sleet near the I-70 corridor Sunday night into Monday morning. There remains some uncertainty in how far north the freezing rain will spread, but could reach north to I-72/Danville. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for areas expected to be most impacted by snow and/or ice.
