More snow is expected today across portions of central Illinois. The axis of heaviest snow is expected south of the I-72/Danville corridor south through the I-70 corridor this afternoon and evening where and addition 3-6 inches of snow may fall. Snow amounts will quickly taper off to the north with a sharp cutoff in snow expected north of I-72/Danville.
