A Flood Watch remains in effect for most of central and southeast Illinois from midday Friday through Saturday afternoon. The heaviest rain during the period is expected Friday night and Saturday morning. Total rainfall of 3-4 inches is likely through Saturday. This amount of rain will result in ponding of water in low lying areas and other normal flood prone regions.
