
Illinois’ governor says he wants answers, not finger pointing, from the investigation into non-citizens voting.
Governor JB Pritzker yesterday said he welcomes an investigation into how more than a dozen non-citizens were able to vote in 2018. But, the governor said he doesn’t want the investigation by lawmakers in Springfield to try and place the blame with one person or agency.
The Illinois Secretary of State says a ‘glitch’ in automatic voter registration put nearly 600 non-citizens on the state’s voter rolls. As many as 16 of them voted.
